Important 2009 BP MS 150 Registration Information

You and your families are in our thoughts as all of us continue to recover throughout Southeast Texas and the Lone Star Chapter. Hurricane Ike may have left us without power, but it did not leave us powerless. Together, we will keep moving forward to recover, reconnect and reclaim our shared power to help one another.

You know first-hand how each person helps another; as a supporter of the 2008 BP MS 150, you're making a dynamic difference in the lives of 400,000 Americans living with MS, including 20,000 Texans with MS in the Lone Star Chapter. Thanks to you, the annual Houston-to-Austin ride contributed a record $15.7 million -- which includes more than $1 million from Team BP -- in funding MS research and services for those with multiple sclerosis.

Now, as you've requested, it's time to keep the momentum rolling.

2009 BP MS 150 registration opens at 10:15 a.m. Oct. 15, 2008 at MS150.org for our 25th annual ride. The 2009 registration fee is $100, which helps offset organizational expenses for fuel, supplies and safety support, further ensuring more funds go directly toward MS research and services. The minimum fundraising pledge -- as in 2008 -- is $400. If needed, you can also use convenient transportation services for $35 per rider. Your participation and support will keep us moving forward on the road toward our 2009 fundraising goal of $17 million to help men, women and children with multiple sclerosis.

On behalf of everyone at the National MS Society, Lone Star Chapter and everyone with MS we serve, thank you for sharing your power to help others and for joining the movement toward a world free of MS.

Sincerely,
